Strengthening Our Voice in the Global Ageing Dialogue
Sharing our insights on national and international platforms allows us to contribute to emerging conversations in eldercare, learn from global perspectives, and strengthen our role as thought leaders. Recently, Supratik Gupta, CSO, Support Elders, spoke at two roundtable sessions on urban ageing organised by Future Cities and the Assistive Technology Lab, UK, where he discussed best practices for integrating AI-enabled eldercare with a human touch. He will soon be presenting at the 12th International Conference on Aging & Gerontology in Tokyo and the 8th World Aging and Rejuvenation Conference in Prague.
We are also involved in research that deepens our understanding of the social realities of ageing. At the 4th Annual Conference on Ageing in New Delhi, Soumyaroop Majumdar, AVP, SEPL, presented a paper on the moral and relational dimensions of paid eldercare in Kolkata. These participations reaffirm our commitment to advancing compassionate, context-sensitive eldercare in India and beyond.
