Mango Bliss
With the mango season around the corner, it’s the perfect time to bring out recipes that celebrate this much-loved fruit. Our member Ms U. Chaudhuri suggests a creamy, wholesome dessert.
Method:
Dissolve the gelatin in half a cup of hot water and stir until completely dissolved. Let it cool slightly. De-seed the mangoes and scoop out the pulp. Blend the pulp with the milk, condensed milk, and sugar in a mixer until smooth. Add the dissolved gelatin to the mixture, and cool to room temperature. Fold in the cream. Pour into a bowl and refrigerate for 6–8 hours or until set. Top with whipped cream and mango chunks before serving. When mangoes are not in season, you can use mango crush. This also works well with orange or lychee crush.
