Support Elders at the Wearable Technologies Conference 2024

The Wearable Technologies Conference 2024, India, held on 9 December, featured global experts discussing “Technology and IoT Devices in Elder Care.” Mr. Supratik Gupta, CSO, Support Elders, shared valuable insights on leveraging non-intrusive IoT devices and predictive models to address critical eldercare challenges, such as loss of mobility, malnutrition, cognitive decline, and environmental risks. He talked at length about our mission to create seamless and responsive solutions in order to enhance the dignity and quality of life of elders. Stakeholders came together to highlight the importance of early warning systems in helping elders live independently and achieve improved well-being.

Celebrating Creativity

We proudly celebrated the creativity and achievements of our members who participated in the Association of Senior Living India’s Annual Day on 21st December 2024, held online via Zoom. For the third consecutive year, our members showcased their talents, with some earning certificates of appreciation: Ms. M. Ghosh, Ms. R. Banerji, and Ms. N. Nath for poetry and Ms. B. Chattopadhyay, Dr. S. Das, Ms. K. Basu, and Mr. N. Ray for story writing. The subjects ranged from women’s rights to personal stories and travelogues to spiritual musings—all of them were remarkable. Congratulations to our senior writers for their inspiring contributions!
