Support Elders at a special event for WEEAD

On the occasion of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEEAD), the Community Policing Wing held a special event to spread awareness of elder abuse and ways to boost their morale. Among those present were Additional Commissioner (III) Shri Pandey Santosh, IPS, and Joint Commissioner (AP) Shri Subhankar Bhattacharya, IPS. The dignitaries who were invited were Shri Sourav De, Asst. Professor (Law) of Dr Ambedkar Govt. Law College, Puducherry, Smt. Anuradha Sen, Former Director-Advocacy of Help Age India and Shri Apratim Chattopadhyay Founder, MD and CEO of Support Elders. They addressed and interacted with the audience.
