FRIDAY EVENING SPECIAL
Framed Glimpses of the World
Event Date: April 8, 2022
Memories captured by the camera,
was beautifully presented in this
event. The wonderful narration
by our members had made the
places come live. They shared with
everyone the perspective with
which the different objects had been
photographed. Some photographs
were beautifully captioned like
‘Doshobhuja’—picture of a uniquely
branched tree, and one on the
shadow of skyscrapers named
‘Arrogant Skyscraper prostrated by
the Sun’. From the photos of the
canoes to the photos of the small
squirrel, everything added a special
value to this program, as they were
so well connected with the lives and
experiences of the narrators. The
photo showing a driveway through
the Redwood tree was a visual treat.
Mr P. S Chattopadhyay shared his
thoughts, saying, “It's really beautiful
and beautifully composed too. I
appreciate the editorial inputs, my
appreciation to the entire team
of Support Elders who judiciously
matched the nuances of the
photographs. Thanks again. Keep
it up!” Ms L. Bose said, “Enjoyed
glimpses of the world, of India and
abroad! Cheers to the Support
Elders members for sharing their
experiences with us along with the
beautiful slides,” while Ms A. Paul said,
“Loved watching the programme.”
“A visual treat, some familiar and
others worth the click. Thanks for
sharing,” said Ms K. Basu.
